Puppies grab our hearts!

National Puppy Day is March 23rd

Don't miss the puppy stage -- capture those memories before they're gone forever. Memories are fleeting and sometimes we forget the sweetest things they did as they were learning about the world and growing up to be our "big dog" - we know they're always our puppy!

My YouTube video is about this very topic (link not included because email providers throw emails to spam if they have links in them - bummer!). So, just go to YouTube and look up my name (Rachel Holland Art) for the newest video with this image:

-- and make sure you are recording those memories with the Dog Memory Guide (my FREE online tool for recording memories of your dog so you can keep them close). I also invite you to share your memories with me as we work on your own piece of artwork of your pet, based on your memories and preferences.

🐶 A Note from Rachel

In April I will learn a new artistic medium called encaustics. It is melted wax that is mixed with pigments to create art. Often called "hot wax painting," it is a process of painting from liquid to solid, rather than wet to dry. It is very labor intensive, so the learning will take place over the next 3-6 months, but I hope to share some of my process and attempts here first! (The sheep will probably peek into that series of artworks in some way.)

Artfully yours,

Rachel

My life was transformed by my rescue dog, Lollipop 🍭. She is my muse and inspiration for my art. If you're interested in learning how to make artwork of your own dog, please let me know. That's where the Dog Mom Art Club can be a beneficial way for you to explore art and make fun artwork of your dog. Just send me a note if you're interested in this artistic way to express your love for your dog (or other pets).
