I’m Glad You’re Here!

My First Collection of Artwork

If you're new here, welcome! You've joined us at a very exciting time. My first real series of artworks has been released today - February 20, 2026 - National Love Your Pet Day. How can we only have one day a year to celebrate our pets?! We shouldn't. And my next YouTube video will include this very theme. It should come out next week.

On to the BIG NEWS! "Where We Belong" is about how our dogs belong to us and we belong to them! When we are at home, we are "Where We Belong" and we know our dogs feel the same way. I want to share these paintings with you this week, before the public views them.

HOME-- it's where we seek shelter, solace, and safety. It's where we return to ourselves.

When we decorate our living rooms, we aren't just filling space. We're choosing what we want to feel every day.

Do you have artwork that speaks to your heart?

That reflects the love you live with?

That says what words can't?

I create art meant to be lived with-- pieces that feel like belonging, comfort, and quiet joy.

These 5 pieces are on 16x20" canvases and look amazing with the black frames on them - but here they don't have them pictured. Normally I would charge anywhere from $500-$600 for this size painting, but for this series (did I mention it's my first EVER?) I am only charging $350 or $420 with the frame.

It has been a pleasure to do them (and one of them isn't completely finished - the brown and white dog on the blue rug, but will be finished tomorrow). I will post it out again after I complete the face of the dog and the mountains in the background. I am elated that a couple of them are already spoken for and will truly find "where they belong" in their new homes. If you're interested in any of them, please reach out to me ASAP.

Painted with Nova Color High Quality Acrylic Paint for Artists and Behr Paint Colors of the Year, these pieces had some qualities in common, but mostly stand apart on their own as well. After this creative explosion, I will take a rest from a formal collection, but I am always open to a new challenge commission! I already have one in queue for a photo of someone's child when he got to stand with Secretariat, the famous racehorse (in the county where I used to live, Bourbon County, Kentucky). I participated in the Secretariat Festival there several times and still have several of my horse paintings available (hint, hint...).

Love Your Dog?

How much do you love your dog (or any pet, for that matter)? My Memory Collector Template guides you through your first impressions of your pet, personality quirks that make them unique, a timeline of your bond, and a gratitude journal so you can cherish the memories. If you haven't tried it yet, it's quite fun! Whether or not you share it back with me isn't necessary, but once you complete it, you can send yourself a copy to keep. If you do decide to send it to me, it will allow me to get to know you better. When you're ready for that customized piece of artwork of your pet, I will be able to use that template to help you decide what it will incorporate.

1 - Just click the button below to begin the journey toward healing through memories and artwork. You are very dear to me and I pray this will benefit you in ways beyond your imagination!

2 - After you fill out the last template (#8), look to the bottom for how you can send them to your email and send a copy to me at: rachel@rachelhollandart.com. I look forward to hearing about your special bond with your pet and seeing photos, too. The photos can have you and your pet together. This will allow me to get to know you and your pet better. I am thankful I can provide this service to dog lovers (and all pet parents) by creating artwork that provides healing and comfort.

Time For Growth

For the next three months I want to focus on growing my audience base, and I need your help! Would you mind sharing this email with someone you know who loves their dog (or any pet)? You don't realize how beneficial it will be to me. Also, if you follow me on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube, please share it out when you can on your social media pages. IT IS SO VERY HELPFUL to the growth of my art business and will hopefully help me reach more interested animal lovers.

THANK YOU FROM DEEP DOWN!

🐶 A Note from Rachel

Thank you for taking the time to check in and see what's on my easel. I only have 5-10 hours each week to focus on making artwork, but it's a drive I have that I cannot deny. Making artwork is beneficial to my health and well-being and I hope you will find that artwork of your pets brings you fulfillment like nothing else can. If you're interested in a custom piece of art of your pet, just send me a note.

➡️ Let's make 2026 the year to celebrate your bond with your pet!

Artfully yours,

Rachel

My life was transformed by my rescue dog, Lollipop 🍭. She is my muse and inspiration for my art. If you're interested in learning how to make artwork of your own dog, please let me know. That's where the Dog Mom Art Club can be a beneficial way for you to explore art and make fun artwork of your dog.
